Why I love it

Linking between all your blog posts takes FOREVER. This tool not only tells you how many times each page is linked to, it generates suggestions of how you can link from one page to another post is linked to, it generates a TON  of suggestions. If you like the suggestion, you can add the link in the click of a button.

Hubspot CRM

While HubSpot has paid options, they have a fantastic CRM which lets you keep track of customers, set reminders to follow up, and see if people have opened your email and clicked the link.

Thrive Themes

If you’re trying to generate emails, leads, and sales using your WordPress website, this is a absolute must have. It has everything for creating pages, split testing (testing different variations of a page to see what performs better. You can run quizzes, have a variety of email opt-ins. It’s really the full package and it fits together beautifully.

Thrive Architect

I made the switch from Elementor to Thrive Architect and I’ll never go back.

Architect is easy to use, it has fast page load speeds, and a robust set of tools. With their smart pages, you can REALLY quickly use templates to create beautiful pages.

If you don’t want the full Thrive Themes membership, you can pick up Thrive Architect for a 1 time fee (although the suite is worth it, I use every single tool)

Short Pixel

I’ve ran test of a number of image optimizer. Shortpixel is easy to use, it’s fast, and it’s free or affordable (you get free credits each month). Site speed is important and Shortpixel was by far the top performer.

Hotjar

This tool will help you see where people are scrolling and where people are clicking. This is incredibly important for any paid traffic. It will help you make a adjustments to the page layout, you’ll see where you’re losing people, and can adjust where you place your buttons or call-to-actions.

Productivity Planner for Small Business Owners

I’ve used a variety of Productivity Planners. But they all seemed to be missing something. So, I created my own based off the science of productivity. It has a step-by-step process for picking your top priorities, time-blocking your day, with activities like working out and gratitude that boost productivity. It’s a must have tool that I use every day.

Keeper Password Manager

Keeper is incredibly secure and it saves a ton of time since you can install plugins to autofill your passwords. You can also auto generate random, 16 character passwords. I had my accounts hacked before using Keeper, and now every single password is secure, unique, and 16 characters long.

Otter.ai

Otter.ai works great for me. Rev is more accurate and a bit more expensive (around $1 a minute) and I use it sometimes. But, with my current workflow Otter.ai works great. You can have an automatic transcription in minutes that’s 95% accurate. Very great results and affordably priced.

Freshbooks

Freshbooks has fantastic invoices, time tracking, and expense tracking. You can even create invoices directly from your time tracking. It’s a fantastic expense system for tracking. If you have less than 6 clients, it’s the cheapest accounting platform. It’s a simple and easy tool to keep track of clients, hours, and billing.

Long Tail Pro

While Ahrefs is even more in-depth, long tail pro is 1/6 the cost and has three features I like.

I don’t trust the keyword volume on ANY of these tools now that I’ve seen my own traffic vs what predicted traffic the two aren’t even close. But, Long Tail Pro is the best at keyword ideas/angles. And, they also make it easy to see how competitive each search term is as well as keyword rank tracking. 

App Sumo

App Sumo has lifetime deals to a wide variety of software deals. A number of these are brand new companies and others are long established companies. I’ve nabbed some AMAZING software and deals at 1/10 of what it would have cost otherwise. There are a few duds, but overall amazing deals, software, and opportunities.

Affiliate WP

I’ve used a lot of affiliate websites. Most are really hard to navigate and frustrating for your affiliates and managing them. Affiliate WP is so simple and easy to use both for you and your affiliates. The layout and features are top notch, it’s the best I’ve found.

Wishlist Member

Fantastic plugin for giving access to different areas of your WordPress website. It’s insanely well integrated with shopping carts and email. Whether you’re doing courses, members areas, or just have private content, it’s super easy to use and great for users.

Paid Traffic Training

The best paid course I have ever taken. It not only has tons of advanced Facebook ad strategies, Max is an absolute expert. But, there’s also a weekly 90 minute Q and A. I show up every week to have a question answered. You can also watch 100+ hours of past trainings and Q and A. It teaches Facebook ads, but also has a ton of info on running a company or agency, building a brand, etc.

Project 24 by Income School

I love the way Project 24 is structured. The goal is to make a full time income blogging in 24 months. They have a plan, a roadmap, and their first 60 steps to success. It also includes a weekly podcast, group member forums. They’ve expanded to helping people grow both a blog and YouTube channel. There’s 10+ courses, and they meticulously track how many people are making $1,000, $2,000, or full time income from their blog. They have hundreds of student making great money and keep improving and updating the course.

Pinning Perfect

This is how you grow on Pinterest. I was pinning and it wasn’t working. Following their formula, I had a 100,000% increase in impressions and went up to 60,000 impressions a month. Not only that, they frequently update the course, and there’s a fantastic members group. With this level of support, updates, and advanced strategies, this one is actually super well priced.

Glorify

I was using Canva to create images, but this one is much better. First, you get access to ALL their templates with the plan for all the different file sizes. But, by far the biggest selling point is the background remover. It’s SO easy to cut out a person from the background. I’ve used Photoshop and a variety of tools and none come close at removing background. I still use Photoshop for advanced photo editing, but this is a crucial part of my toolkit.

A2 Hosting

A2 hosting has fantastic support and it’s great hosting for the price. It’s one of the best choices for shared hosting. While my favorite is Cloudflare, A2 is a fantastic deal at under $5 per month.

Cloudways

Most cheap hosting is slow and you need to use C Panel. Managed hosting is much faster but you quickly jump to $30+ per month. Cloudways is managed hosting, but much more affordable, with really good support and the best price. I’ve been very happy with the speed and uptime (it has very few times when the site is down)

Vid IQ

VidIQ features a number of tools and metrics that you can’t get through YouTube analytics.

You can see what content from your competitors are getting the most views per day. It’s a fantastic tool for analyzing what’s working best and other key metrics for your channel

Cartflows Pro

Cartflows is a powerful WordPress funnel builder with a TON of advanced features. Upsells, downsells, one click upsells, different project numbers. It’s insanely easy to setup and customize using your existing page builders and WordPress tools.

Cartflows Free

You need the pro version of Cartflows to do all of the most advanced funnels: upsells, downsells, order bumps, etc. But, Cartflows is still a great tool to have a custom checkout and thank you page on your WordPress website. It’s much better than the default checkout you get with a tool like Woocommerce.

Calendly

Cartflows WooCommerce Cart Abandonment Recovery

If you’re looking for a basic cart abandonment email, Cartflows has a simple and easy to use tool for doing just that. It works well and it’s easy to use. The main downside is you’re just able to send out 1 email to everyone. If you have multiple products, you cannot create product specific abandoned cart emails.

Mailerlite

Calendly is a great free option for booking basic appointments. You can connect 1 calendar with one type of event. You need to have Calendly branding and miss out on a number of key features, but it’s a great free option for people looking to do basic scheduling.

Active campaign is the most advanced email marketing tool I’ve come across…at a price. Their deep data API lets you tag and track a variety of actions and behaviors in your email. It’s the industry leader in advanced email tagging and tracking.

Zoho Social

Affordable but powerful, Zoho Social lets you schedule to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Business Page, and Google My Business Page.
